An amazing road side and nice weather prompted my family to start visiting places in gujrat! We finally decided upon dwarka n somnath since overnight journey can be performed for these two, and both of them are famous due to more than one reason.
I always wanted to see the place hauled by mahmood Ghaznavi more than 3 times and the place of Lord Krishna!
The way we adopted the journey with my small baby enjoying the car ride was suffcient to encourage a new driver to carry on a 1000 km journey along the sea side. Once we reached porbandar all my nerves were full of enthusiam seeing the vast sea!
Roads in gujrat have been made good and hence 80 km /hr can be achieved and maintained for longer duartions.
Sight seeing is good both in dwrka n somnath, the later being a very very special place!
